8 foundation piles (center) - build up in suit from Kings, then Aces up to Queens.

8 tableau piles (left and right) - build down regardless of suit. Only one card at a time may be moved. Spaces are filled only with Queens. At the start of the game 5 cards are dealt face up to each pile.

stock (top face down) - turn over 1 card at a time to the waste by clicking. No redeals.
reserve (to right of waste) - storage location for up to 4 cards. Only the top card is available for play on the foundations or tableau. Any available card from the tableau (not waste) may be played to the reserve.
